The alumnionline NETWORKING MEETINGS for Alumni Relations practitioners are about everything Online / Internet / Web / Email and take place three times a year in the Summer, Autumn and Spring. They have been designed by OMTAC to provide an inexpensive, stimulating and informative networking day for everyone working in alumni relations, development and fundraising in Schools, Colleges and Universities.
The Networking Meetings are an ideal opportunity for alumni practitioners to come together to hear the latest insights, tips, techniques and best practice in the use of online tools, internet services and technologies, social and professional networks, electronic and mobile communications etc for membership management and development, communication and engagement, development and fundraising:
- Learn what is happening;
- Reflect on your own alumni activities;
- Consider your alumni advancement strategy;
- Share insights and ideas with other practitioners;
- Return home refreshed, re-energised and equipped to move things forward with your own alumni relations programme.

alumnionline XING LIVE REUNIONS
 The alumnionline XING LIVE REUNIONS are organised for all the members of the XING (www.xing.com) professional network who graduated from a UK University or College. Normally 500-1000 people are expected to attend.
Alumni officers from Universities, Colleges and Schools are invited to participate and meet their own alumni over the evening, and also to promote the event to their own alumni. There will be no charge for the first alumni relations officer of any UK University, College or School to attend (or for anyone attending an alumnionline Networking Meeting or Conference - whether from the UK or abroad).

3 February 2009 - alumnionline 09 Conference:
Despite the worst snow in London and the Southeast of the UK for nearly 20 years the OMTAC alumnionline 09 Conference went ahead as planned on Tuesday 3 February 2009 with all the speakers and over half the delegates managing to make it to the Holiday Inn King's Cross Hotel in London for what proved an inspiring, thought provoking day; we were delighted that over 85% of those attending gave the day an overall rating of 70-100% satisfaction, with over 45% rating it as 90-100%. Thank you to all those who made it through the snow, some from as far as France and Holland!
