Why not consider offering your alumni the opportunity to 'get up to speed' personally and/or professionally on digital media and communications, and how they can use the Internet, Email, Social Media, Professional Networking etc for their professional development and/or the growth of their business or organisation?
We deliver entertaining, informative, dynamic talks, presentations and training on the latest developments in digital communications - websites, email, social media, professional networking, buzz monitoring, multi-media, mobile (smartphone) for the web, mobile apps (applications) etc.
We will work with you to provide a fascinating professional networking event for your alumni with real added value, benefiting them personally and professionally.
We can design a morning, afternoon or evening session to attract a good number of your alumni for an interesting and engaging talk and Q&A, with drinks and networking, and plenty of material to use for newsletter and magazine articles, website updates, news etc after the event, for the wider alumni body.
You might decide to focus on a particular leaving year or years, a professional group (medics, lawyers, engineers, freelancers etc), recent leavers, older alumni or the whole alumni body.
We can create various talk themes depending on your intended audience, for example:

A fast moving presentation with examples and case studies, top tips and techniques designed to help your alumni onto the fast track for self-development, career progression, recruitment, professional networking etc using the Internet, Email, Social Media, Professional Networks, Mobile etc as effectively as possible.
Helping alumni to understand all the opportunities available to them for using digital channels and platforms and the latest technology developments in their day to day personal and professional lives.
"HAVE YOU MASTERED WEB 2.0 YET?" or "WEB 3.0 AND BEYOND" or "THE NEW DIGITAL WORLD"
A real eye-opener presentation designed to surprise and entertain your alumni with all the innovations and new ideas already in place with 'Web 2.0' and/or under development in the "new media age" world... the technologies and software that will impact on their lives now and in the future, with insights on how they can keep up with and benefit from the speed of change.
This can work well for all age groups - whether recent leavers, alumni in the midst of their career or older 'silver surfers'.
"GROWING YOUR BUSINESS ONLINE" or "SOLD DIGITALLY" or "DOING eBUSINESS"
What is happening in the digital marketing and communications field, how it will impact on professions, businesses and organisations and ideas and suggestions on ways that your alumni can exploit the latest (and future) developments to benefit their business or organisation.
You decide which theme would be most appropriate and most interesting for the target alumni audience you have in mind.
We are happy to adjust or customise a talk depending on your preferred theme and the audience, for example setting the talk in the context of the medical sector for medics, or for 'silver-surfers' for retired alumni etc.
We suggest the talk lasts 30-60 minutes long, plus time for Questions & Answers, and for drinks and networking before and/or after the presentation.

LOGISTICS
You decide where and when - we can arrange to deliver the presentation and Q&A in any location in the UK or worldwide depending on availability and travel arrangements.
We suggest a minimum lead-in time of 2-3 months to allow for our availability and for properly marketing the event to your Alumni. (However if you need us to deliver a talk at short notice then we may be able to help depending on our availability.)
On the day the talk and Q&A can take place at any time to suit your target audience, whether morning, afternoon or evening. If in the evening we would suggest a start time between 5.30pm and 7.30pm so that the event does not run too late for your target audience.
The venue should have fast, reliable broadband Internet (ideally WiFi) and a data projector, screen, flip chart etc.

COSTS
Costs will depend on location and timing. We will expect you to make all the promotion/marketing, booking, venue and logistical arrangements and to meet all the associated costs from your budget.
You may wish to charge Alumni for attending - perhaps £10-£30 (or perhaps more) per person depending on your costs, funding and objectives.
Our fee for preparing and delivering the talk and Q&A, plus materials for publications after the event, is flexible and depends on the number attending:
- LONDON AND THE SOUTH EAST - our basic minimum fee is £275 ex-Vat (including travel expenses) for up to 20 alumni/attendees plus up to 4 free places for you and your colleagues at the Alumni Association/Institution. We will charge an extra £10 ex-Vat per person for each additional person attending over a total of 24 people. (So the total charge for 40 people attending will be £435 +Vat.)
- REST OF THE UK - as we are based in Brighton our travel costs are a bit higher for locations outside of London & the South east but we are very happy to travel anywhere in the UK, in which case our basic minimum fee will be £325-£375 ex-Vat (including travel expenses) for up to 20 alumni/attendees plus up to 4 free places for you and your colleagues at the Alumni Association/Institution. We will charge an extra £10 ex-Vat per person for each additional person attending over a total of 24 people. (So the total charge for 40 people attending will be £485-£535 +Vat.)
- OUTSIDE THE UK - we are very happy to travel outside the UK but obviously the costs will be higher than in the UK, depending on travel expenses and the amount of time involved, please enquire for a provisional quote.
